Travelling for Christmas, Thanksgiving, March Break, or a summer getaway? Your dog spends the holidays in a real Oakville home — cage-free, in a tiny group, with daily photo updates so you can actually relax. One catch: with only 2–3 spots at a time, holiday dates go fast.
Every year the same weeks fill first. Because we deliberately keep the group at 2–3 dogs (that's what makes the care actually good), we can't squeeze in "one more" when the holidays hit. Here's a realistic booking guide:
Christmas & New Year's (Dec 20 – Jan 2)
The busiest stretch of the year, every year. Book 6–8 weeks ahead — ideally by early November.
Thanksgiving long weekend (October)
A short, sharp crunch. Book 3–4 weeks ahead.
March Break
Family trip season across Oakville. Book by mid-February.
Summer vacations (July & August)
Longer stays are common, so weeks disappear in chunks. Book 4+ weeks ahead — earlier for multi-week trips.
Long weekends (Victoria Day, Canada Day, Labour Day)
Book 2–3 weeks ahead to be safe.
The holidays don't change how your dog is cared for — they get the same cage-free home stay as any other week. Walks (GPS-tracked, so you can see the route), yard time, their own food and feeding schedule, and evenings on the couch with the family. New dogs do a free meet & greet before the first stay, so by drop-off day the house already smells familiar.
While you're away, the app keeps you connected: daily photos, live walk tracking, and a digital report card for the stay. Owners tell us this is the difference between spending Christmas dinner worrying and spending it actually enjoying the trip.
Same rate year-round — no holiday surcharge, ever.
2–3 dogs at a time means the calendar fills months out for peak dates. Book now, meet & greet before the rush, travel worry-free.
