Macy Moore — owner of MoorePetLove, Oakville pet care

Hi, I'm Macy
The Person Behind MoorePetLove

I started MoorePetLove because I believe dogs deserve more than a kennel run and a food bowl. When you leave your dog with me, they're in my actual home — with my family, on my couch, in my yard.

My Background

I've been caring for pets in Oakville for years. What started as a genuine passion for animals grew into a full-time home-based pet care business serving families across Glen Abbey, River Oaks, Bronte, and all of Oakville.

I'm experienced with dogs of all types — high-energy breeds like border collies and huskies, anxious or reactive dogs who do better in small, calm environments, senior dogs who need gentler care and extra attention, and dogs with medical needs including insulin administration for diabetic pets.

I keep my group intentionally small — never more than 2–3 dogs at a time. That's not a limitation, it's a choice. Every dog I care for gets real, individual attention — not shared attention in a room of 20 dogs.

Why Oakville Dog Owners Choose MoorePetLove

🏠

Real home, not a facility

Your dog stays in my house — not a kennel, not a cage, not a facility with 30 other dogs.

🐾

Max 2–3 dogs at a time

I keep it small on purpose. Every dog gets genuine one-on-one attention.

What Oakville Dog Owners Say

Macy has been an incredible dog sitter, and I can't recommend her enough. She's reliable, professional, and genuinely cares about the dogs she works with. My dog absolutely adores her and always comes back happy, well-exercised, and calm.

Patrick Mainville

100% recommend Macy!! Our dog absolutely loves her. She's a border collie, so pretty high energy, but Macy is so good at catering to her needs and tiring her out. You can see how much Macy loves the dogs she works with.

Aislinn Arianna

Macy has been caring for my two senior cats for several years and when one of them was diagnosed with diabetes, she never hesitated to jump in and learn how to administer insulin. My cats are quirky and Macy handles everything with so much patience and love.

Jody Miller

I was so nervous leaving my anxious rescue dog for the first time but Macy put me completely at ease. She sent photos throughout the day, checked in with updates, and my dog came home calm and happy. We're already booked for next month.

Macy is wonderful — she genuinely loves dogs and it shows. My pup always gets so excited when we pull up to her house. The small group size makes such a difference. I'd never go back to a big boarding facility.
